🧪 PROCESS (WHAT MAKES THIS SPECIAL)
“La Esperanza” — meaning hope — is a third-generation coffee farm in northern Peru, operated by Fidel Huabal and his family. Over time, the farm has transitioned into a focused Yellow Caturra production system, selected for its strong performance at high altitude and its ability to express clean, structured sweetness. Only ripe cherries are selectively harvested before undergoing controlled natural fermentation and slow drying processes. These methods enhance sugar development while preserving clarity in the cup. At 1,840 MASL, the combination of elevation, temperature variation, and careful farm management produces a natural coffee that is both vibrant and balanced. The result is a creamy, fruit-driven profile with dessert-like sweetness and tropical brightness — a classic high-altitude Peruvian natural.
