Mama's Notes
Hailing from the Nyeri Country in Central Kenya, this coffee, aptly named Mahiga AA, was processed and packed in the Mahiga Coffee Factory, run by the team behind the Othaya Farmers Co-Operative Society in Kenya.
Given the altitude of 1,813 MASL, this coffee can produce a deliciously vibrant cup of coffee that carries notes of Cranberry, along with hints of Orange, Limequats, and Cacao which adds to Its distinctive washed coffee characteristics.
The volcanic soil on which this coffee cherry is grown also plays a role by contributing to its unique mineral characteristics thus having distinct flavor notes in each cup.
